As with many of the Audiobook download services we have reviewed on this site, Audible offers customers access to its services on a subscription basis. Members can choose from either gold or platinum membership packages - with gold users being able to download 1 book per month (or 12 books per year), and platinum users being able to download 2 books per month (or 24 per year). Members can opt to pay for their packages either monthly or annually, at the following rates:

  • Monthly - $7.49 for the first three months and $14.95 thereafter.
  • Annual - $149.50 per year.
