I have spent a very large dollar amount on audiobooks, and consequently was thrilled to see an unlimited audiobook streaming service. First off the sign up was difficult, and they bill you out of an international company--which made things difficult. The second thing that I noticed was that although it showed compatibility with both apple devices and android devices on the website, it was actually compatible with neither. Next I found out that you would not be able to download the content for offline streaming--not even a 1 at a time DRM-attached audiobook. This severely limits the usefulness of the service. Next, I began to stream an audiobook. Every time, I started an audiobook stream, it stopped after 1 minute. 1 day before my trial was to be up I called and let them know that the streaming was not working. I was on hold for almost 30 minutes, and the lady asked me to please just cancel and not further concern them with my experience. Before I could make a request for technical help, she hung up on me, and I called back. This time I was on the phone for 27 minutes before a different lady answered the phone. She instructed me to use Firefox only, and that this would resolve my issue. I did so, and it worked for the most part. I expressed my regret that I had been unable to really try the service, and she promised to extend my trial for a few days. I purposely withdrew all the money in my bank account the next business day because of reviews that I had read regarding their dishonest billing system, and lack of concern with customer service. I did not want them to screw me over. I suppose that it is lucky that I had the foresight to take out all the funds that could be charged to that debit card, as the charge attempt was made four times just hours after my withdrawal of my banking funds. When I called to ask why they had lied to me about extending my trial, the lady indicated that she was sorry--this was not possible in the first place, and she had no explanation for why my card had been attempted to be charged four times in less than a six hour window. In frustration I ended the phone call, and then decided that the effort was no longer worth the hassles of this very poor service. I called back to cancel the service, and was promised that my account would be deleted and that I could try 1 more go around with a 7 day trial, and that I would likely have a much better experience. Needless to say, I had problems once again registering for the service, and it would not accept my card, and I am finally withdrawing my efforts, and am submitting my lengthy negative experience to go along with the other reviews on this site with hopes that you will spare yourself the trouble of dealing with a very dishonest company that will rather inevitably disappoint. Best of luck to those who have to figure it out for themselves!

In summary, I would not recommend Audiobooks.com to a friend.
